TOPIC 2. THE CONFIGURATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION OF HONDURAS AND THE ECONOMY UNDER THE SPANISH COLONIAL REGIME

Introduction

 

The territory is one of the constitutive elements of the State and formers of the sense of belonging to a space, thus becoming a fundamental pillar in the construction of National Identity. The land and maritime spaces of the country define the jurisdiction in which national sovereignty is exercised, as well as those in which Honduras has exclusive and special competencies. The delimitation of these spaces turns out to be an international right and obligation.
