Honduran territory is a geographical scenario with mountain ranges, mountain systems, plateaus, valleys, coastal plains, coastlines, watersheds and sub-basins, a lake of great magnitude and beauty, and several lagoons (Chilingatoro in Intibuca, Caratasca or Cartago, Brus, Ibans in Gracias a Dios, Alvarado in Puerto Cortes, Los Micos in Tela, Guaimoreto in Trujillo; cities, towns, villages, diverse microclimates, flora, fauna and humid beings. It is to the latter that diverse forms of culture have been developed in this territory throughout the centuries and millennia. Among many other things, their culture, which has always been in a dynamic process of change, which has provoked a dialogue with all that exists in its great geographical scenario.
