There are several theories about the population of America. One of the most widely accepted proposes that men from northeast Asia crossed into America through the Bering Strait about 14,000 years ago. The people who populated America found an environment that was totally different from the one we know today, which thousands of years ago was dominated by colder climates, large ice sheets, extensive rainforests.
